Nate and Morgan

I snagged a picture of Nate and Morgan while we were all watching Little House on The Prairie. Its fuzzy because I used my phone but I will get another one with the camera in better quality.
Nate LOVES vacuming so I always have him do the stairs but I only let him do it once a week so he doesnt get burnt out. I have to make this last as long as possible ha ha ha

Now that Morgan is concentrating on peoples faces its fun to see him interact with Nate. In the evenings Morgan is in his bouncy while I make dinner and Nate usually sits at the kitchen table. When Nate starts talking Morgan looks over at him and just stars at him. It catches Nate off guard every time and Nate sometimes gets creeped out by it. I think its odd for him to see this little human just starring at him hahaha
When Nate came home today I had left the living room for a bit to switch out the laundry upstairs. I kept hearing Morgan let out these fake little short cries. I recognize them because he usually does these when I am not paying attention to him. I come down stairs and Nate is lightly bouncing him. Come to find out when ever Nate stopped Morgan would get mad. Morgan LOVES to stare at Nate. He smiles and gets goofy with me but he just stares so much with Nate. I tell Nate he is trying to figure out who is big brother is.

Early Morning Smiles

Morgan spends most of his time starring at me as if i am an idiot but now that he is smiling I get to enjoy a short lived precious moment.

First Smiles

For the past week he has been trying really hard to smile and finally yesterday and today he will interact with me first thing in the morning. He LOVES his baths and still cries when I take him out haha. He currently has green eyes so it will be interesting to see if they stay that way. My camera doesnt show them but today I was able to get a little of the color. :)
Nate is doing really good and loves his brother. He sings to him and jumps right in to lightly bounce him in his bouncy while I make dinner.

And the tradition continues one generation at a time.....
Sylas was always nervous around Nate when Nate would cry but when Morgan crys Tex gets up and lays next to him looking in my direction as to say, ''um mom...something is wrong with my pup" As a precaution I still keep them seperated by the gate if I have to leave the room and he is on the floor or his vibrating seat.

Gassy Morgan

Poor little guy has had a really bad time with gas and colic for the past few days. So bad that his screaming was just putting more air into his tummy. Sometimes he could be soothed with rocking or me singing to him but other times all I can do is just hold him while he screamed. The ER nurse told me to bring him in within 4 hours and when I got there they said his ears and lungs look and sound great but he has alot of gas in his intestines and they were a little hard too.
Today I got his formula changed and I read the reviews that it worked for babies that did not have acid reflux which he does not have. Had his first feeding this morning and I know its probably just gas but he smiled! Hes a happy boy now!
Still too soon to say we are out of the clear but I pray this works for him.
