TBall Practice #1

I dropped my camera in the water and my old one is causing my picture program to crash but my new camera comes in on Monday so i will have some videos and more fun pics up.
This was last Tuesdays first TBall practice!

The Best Squeeky Ball

This is a blue Hartz 'Dura Play' squeaky ball that you can get at Walmart and Hoss loves it! Its extremely durable and tuff.

Carpet OCD

I can honestly say I think I have OCD when it comes to my carpets. If milk is spilled I have a freak out and literally run to get the shop vac. So milk has been banned from anywhere but the kitchen for a loooong time. Well we all know what its like to have a dog in the house espeically during those crucial 14 week puppy stages. I got tired of lugging around those heavy used rug docters with hair and unknown substances on them from the previous users. It was time to invest in my own widdle machine. Did some research this morning and come to find out the Hoover Steam Vac has some nice reviews and its cheap plus I got an additional attachment tool which I am excited about since I have stairs. I cant wait to try it out!

More Options

I have always put my pictures in my hutch but I am beginning to run out of room to store my boxing supply. This stuff has to be enclosed because lovely Ashes likes to lay in the boxes and put holes in all the bags and chew on the rubber bands or poke holes in the heat packs. So I need to do some major spring cleaning to the photo album section and clear out a bunch of empty photo frames. Great time to put actual pictures in the frames instead of storing them. Mom didnt you tell me to do that? LOL
When I get my boxes they are usually wrapped. In the past during the summer sometimes our AC unit leeks since its in the garage and makes a nice river down along the wall where all my boxes are. Its not fun to loose 50 boxes to water from an AC unit. So this time they are put in a larger box and placed on a wooden plat form. No more water damage woohoo

Its Fishing Time!

I love how Nate can come home from school and I can say, "Nate...ya wanna go fishin" He made a haul today! I did a little trick I saw in a video once. I bent the head of the hook and once I did that he was reeling them in like they were going out of style. With these little boogers I noticed the later in the day or the close time to sun set the lower the bobber should be. Mid day or late afternoon bobber should be very high.

The Amazon

This is the tallest I think our yard has ever gotten! Its so tall in some spots Hoss peeks over them! The lawn care is supposed to start this Thursday so it will be nice to have a non amazon yard.

Nice Day

Today was a nice day! Nate and I went fishing this morning. Almost caught a couple bass but they are still a little slow and catching the bait. Nate was sitting down next to me enjoying the nice morning when he wanted to get up and started beating on the trees with sticks and poking at the fire ant mounds. I stopped him becuase I wanted to explain to him about poking the fire ant mounds and how dangerous it was. He said, "mom I already enjoyed the moment" HAHHA I had told him to come sit next to me and enjoy the moment but I guess he thought he already enjoyed enough. So we headed back to the house and Jamie started working on the breaks. Found some nice lovely deep grooves in the bearings so we replaced those. This should take care of the 7am "Tiffany is leaving her house cant you hear her" and the "Why is that girls car jumping back and forth when she slows down" Any time Jamie works on the car I get the sense of him getting squashed so I like to spend as much time out there with him just in case. Nate made some new friends and raced them up and down the street on his scooter.

Hoss' New Toys

This month is Sylas' 1 year since he went to go be with his brothers and its been a rough past year. I never thought that I would have such a hard time over loosing a pet. Its taking time for me to actually bond with Hoss since my heart is still with my Sy Fry. So I decided to get Hossy some toys and raid the petsmart.com's mega sale. When I opened the box I went through everything to make sure the order was completed then woke Hoss up (yes he slept through the door bell) and let him see what prezzies we got him. What did Hoss do?....he grabbed the nearest sock and held it in his mouth while looking through the toys!! HAHA
