August Tennessee Trip

We headed up to Clarksville TN to visit Jamie's family. We had such a great time seeing all the cousins play together. David is 4 months younger then Nate so they had a blast playing at McDonalds. We had a little car trouble the night before we were supposed to leave but we got another day of visiting in while it was being fixed. Got home last night just before the hurricaine is supposed to hit. Then we got up this morning and drove back to Alexandria to pick up Tex from his hotel so now today will be spent doing laundry and relaxing. :)

Soccer 2012!!!

We got a surprise call from the coach yesterday that his first practice was today! We thought the season didnt start until next month!
When we got to the field we thought maybe we had the wrong coach or time. The kids were so small....or Nate was so big compared to them but then a child yelled out for Nate and apparently he is in his class. 
A little girl said Nate was too big to play with them and we over heard the parents behind us talking about how big he was. I keep forgetting how much he has grown this past year.
Nate was so happy that Jamie was there this time to watch him and Morgan enjoyed watching like he always has.
When we were leaving Nate insisted he push Morgan. I LOVED the moment especially since he is still not into the hugs or converstation with Morgan. It comes and goes so when he wanted to push him I was really happy. I think Nate was pretending he was a race car and Morgan was bouncing around and leaning forward. We stopped for a second and Morgan leaned forward with closed fists and rocked back and forth as to say, ''KEEP GOING'' 
It was so cute that Jamie and I looked at each other and smiled and chuckled a little. 

Whats In There?

Morgan is always trying to find ways to stick his finger in your nose. He has now discovered the ears and just attacked Jamie for the longest time. He loves Jamie so much and actually scooted to him a little yesterday so hes getting really close to crawling!

Sleeping

I think he looks like Jamie but everyone says they see me....hmmm Im stumped

1st Grade Here We Come!

It amazes me that on a saturday morning a child can get up as the sun rises but when its time for school they magically are so sleepy they have a hard time getting up and getting ready HA! Morgan loves going to big brothers school and he was ready to go too!

On the way to school Nate said, ''Thanks mom for taking me to school so I dont get lost" His teachers name is Mrs. Swing and I like her room. Its very clean and simple. There is not much stuff on the walls and there are not as many desks. I have a feeling this is going to be a good year.

Jamie Is Home!

Ginger Snap!

The night my mommy left I had a Hershey bar (thanks mom :) unfortunately it gave me insomnia so I decided to clean. I took a bag of trash out and this creature ran past me pouncing on a roach and eating it. With it being so dark it took me a second to get my heart rate back down and realize exactly what it was. A cat! He looks to be around 5-6 months hes very skinny and has a very dirty coat but he came right to me without me even calling him and turned his purr motor on. This will be the third cat that has come to our house looking for someone. So I fed him and went back inside.
The next night I was watching tv and heard this horrible meow outside the front door. I opened it and there he was. So I fed him again and came back inside.

I explained to Nate about the cat but told him he only comes out late at night so he probably wont see him. This morning Nate took the trash out. I heard the front door open and, "MOM THE CATS HERE!!!" well I guess he wanted breakfast this time. Nate spent some time with him and asked, ''Mom whats going to happen to him when we move?" orange cats are high demand so I have no doubt someone will bring him in some day but if not we will find him a home before we move. That made Nate feel better. Its sad so many animals are left here when people move :(

Park Time!

Took the boys down to the park and the dock to look at the fish. There were LOTS of fish in there too just hanging around. They say your not supposed to keep any sun or bass but from the looks of it they need to change that HAHA! Nate found a freaky looking bug. I was just waiting for it to transform into something and jump on Nate bla HA! Morgan enjoyed chewing on the strap to his stroller as usual.
