Trick Or Treat!

Well since Nate has been playing with his costume, it ripped a few days ago and as we were heading out the door I decided I was going to use a little super glue to attach the small rip. Well it burnt my finger and then started smoking!!!!!!!! I ripped the costume off of him right there in the front yard faster then you can say "call the fire truck!" So I explained to Nate what had happened and he picked out his bat costume. He liked it as I was worried he would be upset about the spider man one but it worked out. He had a blast going door to door and this year he finally got the concept of knocking on the door and not trying to actually go into the house like he did last year. HA When Bobbi and I came back Jamie was still out handing out candy. His foot is injured so he wouldnt have made it. Then of course we had to bring Moe Moe out and all the kids loved him! They got to pet him and Moe Moe was soaking up the attention.

Workin Day

Today we are busy! Nate is cleaning his room in getting excited about tonight. I have been cleaning the house and Jamie is out in the garage putting a lift on a friends car. The weather is perfect! Its been raining all week and today its nice and sunny! Here is a picture of Nates pumpkin and grammy and papa carved. This is the pumpkin that Nate grew from a small plant in Bend. Nate drew a face on paper and I scanned it and sent it to them. It looks so cute!

I still laugh when I turn my camera on and find these pictures. I always delete all my photos so that I can capture everything that he takes. He must have taken these early this morning when he woke up. When I saw the pictures of the clowns I got worried becuase he knows he is not supposed to mess with the quarentine tank. Yet I couldnt say anything because it was so neat to see him wanting to capture the fish. When he was done he put the lid back on so well like he knew exactly what he was doing.

Pumpkin Carvin Time!

Nate has been so excited about carving his pumpkin. Finally the day had come to carve them and Nate ran to the front door in excitement! So far its been tradition that Jamie carves the face on Nates pumpkin until Nate is old enough to hold a knife. I think maybe age 20 would be about right? HAHAHA We all had a blast with Bobbi, Pam, Dylan, Kayden, and baby Pistol (yes thats his name) Nate was a little upset because he thought we were going over to grandma and grandpas house to carve the pumpkin that he has been growing since it was a seed. I told him Grammy and Papa are going to carve it for him so we had him write his name out, trace his hand, and draw a face so they had a couple options to work with.
Nate's pumpkin is the first pic. Second pick, Bobbi on the left mine and Jami's is on the right. 3rd pic is our friends' pumpkins.

Today At School

Today Nate painted leaves. I saw something that they painted yesterday but I think they are letting them dry before they can take them home. I cant wait to see them! He got a "bee drug free" ribbon with a bee on it HA
Sylas gets excited when Nate comes home. The welcome usually consists of Sy grabbing nates clothes are poking his nose on him making sure he is ok. Funny Sy

The Fam

Well its been raining for 4 days now so we have all been stuck in the house.
I guess this is our snow HA
Nate is doing good in school. This weeks words are "Fall" "leaves" "Rake" and his letter is "L" and number is "1" Jamie has been working on teaching him how to write his name as that is another assignment. This week is Red week to fight against drugs. "Wear Red Day" "Team Up Against Drugs" They get to wear a jersey on that day. "Band together against drugs" They weare a bandana that day. "Put a Cap on Drugs" They were their favorite cap. I think Bend Elks will be on that day tee hee. "Join the Fight Agaisnt Drugs" They wear a camouflage shirt. I remember when I went to school we didnt start that stuff until I think 3rd or 4th grade so its nice that they are starting out right the first time.
Im not doing much just the ol housey wife duites, selling coral on ebay, and I picked up my crostich again. Im starting to get burned out on it but I am determined to get it done so I can frame it.
Nate is excited about Halloween and cant wait to go trick or treating. We do pumpkins tomorrow so I cant wait to see how they turn out!

The Fish Are Sick

Hey mom and dad this is what Nate was trying to tell you on the phone. "The fish are sick and in a bucket" "They are sick and dying" Well the truth is they are not dying I caught the 'ich' (white spots) just in time. Im supposed to have fish set up like this before introducing them to a tank but since the tank was newly set up I didnt do it. Sure enough becuase of the stress of them being shipped and getting delayed in the Nashville TN airport for another day they came down with it. I cant treat the tank becuase of the coral so luckily I was able to catch them in less then 5 mintues. Some people have to get fish traps just to catch them but I think they wanted to be saved. They have to stay in there for 4 weeks while the 'bugs' in the tank dye off. The salinity was also lowerd in their cooler from 1.026 to 1.09 over 48 hours to rid the ich in their system. Soooooo yea saltwater aquarium work just keep giving all year round LOLOLOL

Nate

There was a grass hopper on Bobbi's car so Nate wanted to sneak up on it and try to catch it!

Nate Photography Part 2

Its so funny to turn my camera on and find these pictures because he does it so sneaky. I never see him with the camera and I dont notice it missing. I LOVE the pic of Moe Moe he took because he had to open the cage and put the camera in the cage at an angle to get that one.
