Tiffany To The Rescue Again

Nate and I were out in the car this morning at 5:30 waiting for Jamie to finish filling his camel back. (it holds water and he wears it like a back pack) I noticed a husky walking around in the front yard. I got out of the car and made a noise and this dog came running up to me so excited! She would put her neck on the ground and stick her butt in the air it was really funny. Soooo Jamie came out and I quickly put her in the back yard since I saw she had tags. When we dropped Jamie off we came home and I called the number. The dogs name is Duane and she is from Michigan! I left a message and come to find out its a fathers son who moved here a couple weeks ago. So now I am waiting around for them to call so they can come pick her up. In the meantime she enjoys licking the (just cleaned) glass to Nate and Sylas. Sylas is kinda mean though standing there wagging his tail like, "ha ha Im in here and your out there."
UPDATE: The owners actually live right across the street. They were happy to see her again!

YEA

Jamie got his promotion!!!!!!! He has worked hard for the past few months to get this 'early' promotion and it payed off! It will take 1-3 months to take effect, but its an answered prayer and we are both so happy!

New Addition To The Family

Here is Nates little buddy. Mr Jingles will be ready this Saturday! He is HUGE for his age and already very loving to Nate, meowing to him and walking up to him. I named him yes, but I have a feeling the first idea that pops into Nates head will probably take over the name Mr. Jingles. We are at a 'visitation' time right now, where Nate and I will go over there and bond with him. As soon as we pull up to Bobbis house Nate gets all excited, "my kitty momma my kitty!" When we get home though Nate walks around trying to find the kitty. "where kitty momma?" Then I have to explain to him that he is still with his mommy. "ohh" he says.
I dont know but I think I see a resemblance here.

Packing For Iraq

Well the time is coming fast and Jamie's platoon is gearing up for the first packing. These big black boxes will hold a months worth or personal products and equipment. They will ship it over there and have it waiting for Jamie when he gets there. Nathan enjoyed hiding in them. Once the lids closes it locks and Nate knew this. It was a good 15 minutes of him closing it and then knocking from the inside yelling help. As soon as you open it, he pops the lid up fast and screams "boo" smiles, then goes back in. I told Jamie it was big enough for me.........tee hee hee. I quickly grabbed the tape to tape the tops of the bottles even though they are going in zip lock bags, I am paranoid. Shopping for this stuff was fun because I had Nathan with me and told him to just start throwing stuff in the cart. The register lady kinda chuckled when she started scanning stuff. "your husband must be deploying?"

The FRG (Family Readiness Group) meeting went well. They talked alot about the emotional and physical things that will go on during a pre-d, d, and post d. There was alot of information about children and so on. The main part was to plan plan plan and talk about things. Jamie and I looked at each other and smiled during this meeting because this is our first deployment yet, we act as if we have done this a million times. We have already been doing everything that the FRG stressed to us. It feels good to accomplish this stuff and get it out of the way so we can just wait around.
As soon as we get the date for September I will email it to ya'll. I can not put it on here for security purposes. (I dont think blogger has a privacy setting for outside viewers??)

Up-Dated Garden Photos

I clearly can see that I have a spring and summer garden. The left gardens plants are just sitting there while the right side is going crazy! Next season I think I will switch things around a bit to spread the color out.

Nathan Is Driving Now

The neighbor down the street had a Power Wheel that her son did not use anymore. They asked if we wanted it, so I asked Nate, "Nate do you want to drive a Jeep?" "YES DRIVE JEEP DRIVE JEEP!"
He took it out for a spin tonight, but the battery had not been charged on it in awhile. So its hooked up and gearing for the next ride.

Toy Story

Nathan has a wide variety of movies to watch but when you ask him to pick one out he goes for
1. The Bee Movie
2. Nemo
3. Toy Story
4. Barney
So today he grabbed the Barney video, and as I was putting it in he freaked out and quickly grabbed Toy Story. So we switched them out and he watched it.
Then it was bed time. It was quite in his room but then I heard various sentences coming from his room.
"AH Danger!" or "E-finny n Yawn!" so I went in there and there he was sitting on his bed having a battle between Buzz and Woody. I could not help but laugh......

Rocket Baloons

The videos were taken with some old baloons, so they were not getting the air they should have, but after the videos we got some new ones and they went REALLY high. Other kids started coming out and before long we had everyone setting off some rocket balloons.

Get The Birds!

Nathan was out shooting at the birds and hunting objects. When he approached a light pole he took his hat off, looked up the pole, then put his hat back on and went on his way. Strutin his stuff all over the neighborhood and keeping guard for the birds.

The Independant Child

We have noticed more and more independence from Nate. I was on the computer and he was watching "The Bee Movie" he comes into the kitchen, grabs a spoon, opens the fridge, grabs a yogurt, and sits in his chair and starts eating it. The last time he did this he actually pulled the lid off and threw it away before he sat down to eat it. This might come in handy some day...maybe in the future he can get up and make baby bottles for his future siblings HA HA HA HA

Crazy Hair

Nathan woke up with a cute crazy hair due that we had to document. During this photo documentary we decided to give Sylas some extra sugars. (We love you Sylas!)
