Went over to mom and dads to clean my car out and Nate found some left over snow from a couple days ago. This little driveway edge made a great place for Nate to slide down. Grandma hooked him up with a tubaware container lid that made a perfect sled.

Doggie Dental (UPDATE)

Sylas did very good! They said he was great. They used gas instead of the injectable and it makes a big difference. He was able to come home at 2:00 instead of later in the day. No doggie breath!
The vet did say that the enamel on his teeth is gone. They dont know why, but looks like I will be brushing his teeth every 3 days.
He is snuggled on his bed with his blanky right now.
Well Sylas is heading to the dentist tomorrow morning. This will be the first time that I am not the one cleaning his teeth so I am kinda nervous about it. I was always there for him when he went under his anesthesia but now its going to be a stranger. Now I know how clients felt leaving their pets for surgeries or dentals. I knew they would be just fine and in good hands but when you dont know what goes on behind those doors you get a little leary.
He needs it soooooo bad though. Driving through town with the windows rolled up and a stinky Sy breathing in your face is not the most pleaseant experience.
I will post an update on the minty fresh Sy as soon as I can.

An Explosion!

Well as some of you know, I started my "spring cleaning" back in the fall of last year with the garage sale. After the garage sale it took 2 car loads to get it to the goodwill. Then another couple car loads of stuff just from the house.
So I have an itch to look at my garage. I went through everything and found so much stuff that you ask yourself, "why in the world did I keep this?" so as you can see I have alot of goodies for the goodwill.

Well my camera takes better pics for my freshwater
then the saltwater. I think its becuase the different lighting.
The fuzzy neon mushroom turned out pretty good.
Those orange round zoanthids actually have neon
green around their edges too.
Everything is growing pretty good.

like to hog the camera. This one is funny because it
looks like it has purple lip stick on HAHAHA

Nate's School Session

Nate, mom and I went to his Montessori school for his walk through. We could not go through the classroom but they had these windows that you could look through. He did really good and looked like he was enjoying himself. He starts in the first week of March.
I got his hair cut yesterday (looks so much better)
He has been asking for days now wanting to go to "school" so he was really excited this morning.

The Purple Is settin In!!!!!

Im so excited that my purple coraline algae is finally starting to take over the rock speckled with dark red! I have waited weeks for this moment! Keeping an eye on the salinity and calcium levels and putting the lights on timers has helped so much! Right now it has decided to attack this rock and some spots on another rock and I saw some spots on one of my powerheads. YEA!!!!

People have been talkin about this kid and I have never heard of him before have you? I guess he was 17 or 18 in this video but he has a couple others out where hes a little older.
