Early Summer Snow!

Now that Nate is saving his own money he went crazy when the Summer Snow truck came down the street. I quickly grabbed the camera to catch him just in time flying across the street....looking both ways first of course. My neighbor and I caught a lonely lightning bug the other night and we went up stairs to show Nate but it wouldnt glow so we let it go. Tex loves to be outside too but with it getting hot he doesnt last long haha!

Nathan & Morgan 2012

I was determined to get the boys photos taken out by our down town museum. My camera broke a few days before we planned on going out. We took these with a Canon PowerShot A2300 and I LOVE the quality! I cant wait to get some soccer photos in the fall.

3 trains went through the display during our photo session and Morgan loved watching them. The boys both had a good time and we got some great shots for memories.

My mums and pansies came back with a few other plants. We sprinkled some wild flowers that have really helped fill it in.

Morgan Sitting Up!

Today Morgan decided that he wanted to sit up all by himself. Well to be honest Tex helped alot! Tex has always showed a big interest in Morgan and checks on him often especially when Morgan is in my lap. Well Morgan started showing an interest in this big dog looking right at him so I took Morgans hand and started petting Tex every time he came over. Not only did Morgan laugh hysterically but Tex would get all excited and lean against Morgan like, ''more more pet me more'' I have been working with Morgan for two weeks to sit up using his arms but today was different. Tex was sleeping by the front door and when I put Morgan down Tex got up and came over like he always does to lick Morgans ear and make sure his puppy is ok. Morgan giggles of course and tried to reach out and he grabbed onto Tex' cheek. Tex got all excited and started rolling all over the place. At one point it almost seemed like he was trying to knock Morgan over HA So to avoid any giant paws in the face I told him to go lay down. He wrestles with Nate after school so I think he thought Morgan was going to do the same thing.

Is It Empty?

After Morgan eats his bottle he will stare at it for at least a minute. Some times I will give it back to him so he can make certain that indeed it is empty. The cutest part is when I lean him towerds it and he picks it up and brings it to his mouth and of course nothing in it.
So today I did something different...
I propped him up on a pillow and let him stare at it for about 5 minutes. It was so cute.

Tex is blowing his winter coat so this morning I brushed him really good and he went out in the backyard and sniffed the air. His coat colors are still changing and the grey on his cheeks are spreading so I think he will have the ratcoon look like Sylas had :)
