A Nathan Conversation

I was putting Diego on Nate's portable cd player in his room while he layed down. I have never seen the movie, so I decided to watch it with him.
It turned into an education time for me.........
As the movie started Nathan asked me, "mama whats that?" (as he was pointing to the "jaguar") I made a mistake and said, "tiger" his response, "No mama its a jaguar"
Mama whats that (pointing to the brontosaurus) I said, "I dont know what is that" His response "mama its a bonto-sore-us"
"mama whats that" "I dont know what it is" "T-rix mama"
"mama whats that" "um......a pilosoraptor?" "no mama its a milo-sarus"

All of these answers he gave me were said prior to Diego even giving the answer!!!!
So Im thinking....wow he knows alot....but then I start thinking.....maybe he watches it too much HAHAHAHA

No Help This Time

While I was busy working around the house Nate decided that there was not enough room in the play room for a train set up so he moved it into the living room.
He has always asked me in the past to help him and ofcourse I love helping because it gives me an excuss to play too! This time he did not ask and to my surprise he made it all by himself.

Pulsing Xenia

The pulsing Xenia has doubled in size just this week. They were not kidding when they said they grow like weeds. The anemone in the upper right corner and been on the move and being stubborn about wanting to make his home in the back of the tank. So he finally stayed put in the front.
Ofcourse the clowns follow you whichever side of the tank your on and have to steal the spot light.

On The Hunt

Ok everyone next week is a major big week for me especially Monday. I am heading out and dropping my precious resume to the humane society here in town and a couple other close clinics. This town is loaded with clinics but I am seeking ones close to home first. God has blessed me tremendously in the past with tech jobs and I have a feeling his blessings are just going to keep rolling in this town for me. Im exited and have a sense of something out there just for mua. I will keep ya posted on any bites.

New Addition

So ya'll are probably thinking...."man this blog is turning into an online aquarium blog" well until my H..U..S...B...A...N...D sends some P...I...C...T...U...R...E...S for everyone and myself to see this is pretty much all thats going on. Hehehe Anyways as I was saying, here is a new addition. Its a Coral Beauty Angel. He is a little shy at times, but does a good job at eating the algae off the rocks.

Bend Update

Well I have to say it feels really weird to look up at that pink ticker. The time that I have been here in Bend seems to have FLOOOOOWN by so fast, yet it feels like its been forever since Jamie went back over. Its strange how certain time lines can make you feel that way. I think I found my church home! (Aunt Pennie, it was ya'lls church) Still want to try out a couple more but I feel really good about this one. I love the pastor and Nate has a blast downstairs at childrens church. We had some missionaries speak last Sunday and they had some really interesting stories of their trips over seas. Mom and Dads house is done being unpacked and now its down to the organizing and decorating (my favorite part) The weather has been fantastic with sunny shine in the afternoons and cool at night. I thought I missed the 90% humidity but I dont think I do anymore HAHAHA Nate and I are off this afternoon to see the dentist! The place is called Zooka and its a super hero atmospher, perfect for Nate.

ITS DONE!!!!!!

I was so excited when I realized that the tank had finally cycled as of this morning! I could not believe it! It really helps when you get already cured rock!
So Nate and I headed to the local pet shop to pick up our cleaner crew. It consists of crabs, shrimp, and turbo snails to clean the tank up prior to putting more fish or corals in.

Mystery Shoe Line

Well Nate was supposed to be taking his nap while I was busy doing dishes. I left for a split second and as I was coming back down the hall I heard a quick run back to his bed. There in front of his door was a display of his shoes. So interesting I just had to take a pic HAHA!

IT FINALLY CAME!

The aquarium live rock showed up! I was so happy and I could not wait to open it up. They shipped it really good and I was very impressed with the quality of it. Cant wait to see what starts growing in the next few weeks.

Poor Sugar Bear

Nate woke up yesterday morning with the stomach bug. Poor baby was so miserable. He stopped getting sick around noonish time. This morning he is doing much better! His tummy is still a little quesy but he is eating and seems to be feeling better.

Christmas In January

Well mom and dads movers are not supposed to be here until Monday or Tuesday. We all planned on getting a trailer and moving their apartment this weekend. Well poor ol dad threw his back out BAD, so Grandma and Grandpa made a surprise visit. Lets just say I owed my folks big time for my move so I was glad to help out. We got everything in the house that afternoon. Today, we finished up on some Christmas shopping for Nate! Thank you to Auntie Pennie, Uncle Mike, Josh/Uncle Josh! At first Nate had no idea that we even had prezzies sitting there next to him. He loved all of them! The gun toy was a lazer gun that made these little things pop the cans up in the air. It worked up to 20 feet, but Nate wanted to do the ol traditional duck hunt and go right up next to the cans.

Visiting The New House

Mom and Dad got the keys to their new house on few days ago, so we headed over so that I could take a look. Nate had fun running around and screaming in circles. We went down to the dechutes river. It was so crystal clear it was beautiful! I cant wait to throw a line out there this spring!!!
