Quality Pictures

I am sure Uncle Mike knows all to well about this! Well I sent in my 'Morph' zoanthid that I named 'Tango Mango' so it can be classified in the zoanthid coral database. They got back with me finally today and said they really like them and want more clearer pictures of them. So this time I followed the guidelines and made a tripod out of a makeup bag, jacket, and a hard glasses case and WALA its amazing the results I got. When you think your holding your camera steady think again.
So now its being looked over by coralpedia.com judges so we will see if it makes it!

No Deployment

Well they originally needed 12 guys but cut it to 3 so Jamie and a bunch of guys got bumped. Jamie has not been home long enough from his previous deployment and that was one of the reasons.
Its a bummer considering all the equipment that needed to be purchased for this. Its aggrivating but that is the Army for you. Always have to be prepared...

'Bubba Gump' the Lion Fish Previous owner had him in a 10 gallon tank so he is much happier now.

We had baby Pistol and Kaydon orver to play all evening last night. Nate and Kaydon had a blast running around like crazy playing with the toys. Sylas did his normal ruitine of 'guarding' his pup. He has become a little over pertective of him. Me organizing my binder for the business. (It looks good dad thanks) Nate made some beautiful pictures with his new markers I got him. He said they were all for Grammy HAHA Then Sylas hacked on the carpet by the back door. While I was cleaing it up with my trusty shop vac Nate sits down with Sylas and says in a calm voice, "Sy we dont puke on the carpet thats 'inaproprat' but it ok just dont do it again Sy ok.....ok.....MOM Sylas isnt saying Yes mam!"

Organize BLA

Well I am starting to get the business organized before getting it up and running but before I did that I realized I need to get my own personal stuff organized first Its amazing what 6 months can do to a filing box. I mean I seriously have no idea how I over looked this stuff before. Looks like I am going to need a paper shredder soon

Business Lingo

Well as some of you know I have started www.APieceOfTheReef.com
It has taken awhile to get this site up and running and its STILL under construction. I just got the hang of 'code talk' so I think I am getting there.
Im on hold waiting for my post commander to review my paper work to get my business license and then its another 30 day wait for that paperwork to come in. It will all be worth it in the long run.
One of my rules has always been to communicate with my buyers and treat them like family and not a 'sale' its getting noticed I notice myself receiving emails from past buyers with questions which I love!
I also noticed that I seem to be picking up on some business lingo talk if that is what you call it. With answering so many emails to customers, possible customers, and venders for products its like the same answer over and over, "Hello how may I help you" "If you have any other questions just let me know" "I will be glad to help" bla bla bla bla so I was at Nates school picking him up. I handed the teachers his paper work that consisted of important medical documents. As I handed them to the teacher I said "and if there is anything else you need just let me know."
As I was walking Nate down the hall he stopped for a drink of water and I thought....."I did not just do that back there!" HAHAHA I chuckled right there in the hall and Nate asks, "mama what is so funny?" "oh Nate your moma has gone bonkers" "you have bananas" "No Nate mama has gone crazy" "NO MOM THATS RUDE YOUR NOT CRAZY" "oh ok thank you Nate I really appreciate it, AHH I am doing it again!" "Doing what mom?" so the conversation continued into the car and we both had a giggle about it.
Then when Nate and I pulled up into the drive way there was Jamie standing there waiting for us and a dog next to him. Nate ofcourse is freaking out, "CAN WE KEEP HIM CAN WE KEEP HIM" and I say "absolutely not!" the dog was a stray and he is supposed to pick them up even if hes off duty. Nate said that Sylas needed a friend but I told him no becuase he might confuse him (Nate) as as chew toy. Nate didnt understand but I thought it was funny.
So then later that day Nate asks Jamie..."daddy I want a kitty" "No way no cats" "But dad we need another Mr. jingle"
So to ease this short lived I want another pet pain that Nate was going through he fed his fish and pet Sylas for a few minutes and then I offered him food and everything else was out the door.
Poor Nate...hes got so much of his mommy in him he just cant pass up the animals.

My Boy Is Growing Up

Ok no Moe Moe is not growing up I just had to add some photos of him lounging and playing in his new boxes I put in his cage for him.
Nate on the other hand is amazing me every day. These past few weeks everyone can really see a change in him. The way he talks...acts...plays...everything is maturing so fast its kinda sad. I cant tell you how many times I have stopped and starred at him and said, "Nate" and he looks at me "yes mama" "Nate I love you" (while he smiles) "awww mama that makes me happy I love you too" then he has to come over and gives me hugs and kisses.
These past couple years have been a little rough but now that its passed I look at my sugar bear and think to myself......"I would do it all over again"

Bad Fishy Bad

Well my beautiful BiColor Angel decided......"hey these colorful things taste like candy" so it took me 3 days but I finally caught him using a 2 liter pop bottle. I cut the top off and turned it around inside out and he swam in there looking for some food and BAM I snatched him. Sooo he has a new home. Here is the tank all pretty and clean. Nate cleaned his tank this morning. Mom knows what I am talking about but I have this thing that you clean the glass with. One side is in the tank and the other is on the outside and its like a magnet so you dont get your hands wet. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE that comes to are house grabs it and starts playing with it. Well Nate has never been allowed to touch it but since he has his own tank I let him use it on his. Its hilarious because he does it so carefully. "see mom see I dont make the sand go up see mom" adorable

I have alot of work to do on it! I probably wont havve it up and running for at least 2-4 weeks if not longer. Its extrememly time consuming with all the codes and stuff.
I still need to re-fix all the photos so they dont have white borders.

Nate renamed his fish again today. Blue is still blue but the white and back striped damsel gets a new name every day. I told him we should make it easy and name them bologne and cheese but he said, "NO MOM that is stuff you put in a sandwich"
