My friend Pam came over and Oliver got crazy. He was running through Sylas and all over the game room like crazy fluffing his tail, arching his back and flipping upside down. It looked as if he wanted Sylas to play with him so bad but Sylas did not think the same. Oliver looked more like he has some 'issues' LOLOLOL

Poor Sylas

I only had one box left and have been waiting all week for my new shipment. I crossed my fingers that I wouldnt sell anything until I got them in. Oops over looked the inventory tee hee hee So the door bell rings and Sylas goes flying to the door. The UPS people know me by name now which is either disturbing or cool and they know Sylas too. So the door closes and I place the boxes on the ground in my 'packing' section of the house. Sylas investigated much to his surprise that......well......this box does not open......poooor Sy

The Boys

Nate was in bed and Jamie and I were watching tv. Oliver was in a mood he crawled up jamies chest and sat on his shoulder. Then he started batting at Jamies ear so he removed him and he jumped off the couch and started looking for someone else to bug. He snuck over to Sylas and was kneeding his lower back. It was so adorable and hilarious I had to take a picture. Then he went over to his ear and started licking the end of Sylas ear. Sylas didnt move I think Oliver was giving him an ear massage

Camera Fun

Nate came home from school today and disapeared upstairs for awhile which is not normal. I was in the middle of trying to get my skimmer turned back on. I had some water in my hand and when I turned around there was nate and just like in the movies he startled me and some of the water went flying. This is how he was dressed. I stood there and prevented myself from laughing. He was a police officer! So I had to get some pictures HAHAHA
Then it was time for a snack with the 'boys' Not only do you have a dog begging now Oliver has learned.

NO MORE DOGS!

Im done with getting dogs for a long time. I refuse to get a puppy because I know how much work they are and I dont have the time to devote to its training. So we end up with older dogs and something always has to go wrong. We had to find Chance a home few months back due to him chewing on Nates arms. It was all in play ofcourse but it was a bad habbit that he picked up from his previous owners that I could not break no matter how hard I tried. So my heart is still with my little kitty Mr Jinggles that I lost before Jamie deployed. That was the only other pet that I truly loved like I do Sylas. He just never had a chance... So Jamie and I talked and Nate wanted a puppy but I wanted something more easy and thought of another kitten. This time I was looking for something that was at least 8 weeks and not 4 weeks like Mr. Jingles. So on March 29th I found one an orange marble tabby which is another coat type that I have always wanted and they are hard to find! WOW what a couple weeks can do to a kitten. He pretty much does everything on his own. Sylas loves him not in the I want to eat you way but the 'oh a fuzzy friend' way. He is relaxed around him too knowing he does not have to share his territory like he had to with Chance. Jamie said he does not like cats BUT he was concerned that "oliver" did not have a bed to sleep in at night. Oliver also snuggles with him on the couch all the time. My friends tease and say hes not my cat but hes turning into Jamies HAHAHAHA Nate is also much better with Oliver I guess because he is older. He is extremely lovey and even has a little attitude. When he comes up to you and sticks his paws on your chest and stars right at you if you dont pet him he meows in your face. Or he rubs his little cheeks all over yours. Absolutely adorable! The best part is seeing this 80lb dog and this little kitten sitting side by side looking up at me when I have food HA So to make a long story short no we are not turning into cat people we will always love dogs but right now in our busy lives this little guy is just perfect! The video was taken last night after we ate. Jamie fell asleep because we started watching this cat show HA The pic of the other cat is an example of a Marble Tabby

Happy Easter

Wow what a day it was! It felt more like Thanksgiving then Easter im still stuffed!

Was woken up early this morning to Nate holding his Easter basket all excited and wanting to show me all the goodies.

Nate looked so handsome in his Easter outfit and he knew it. He strut his stuff with his hands in his pockets. When he went into his classroom at the church he stood there with his hands in his pockets while all the kids were running around. Then he turned around with one hand in his pocket and with the other hand waved us goodbye. Almost like he was one of the volunteers watching the kids HAHA

Came home and started on the food. We had a couple of my friends whos hubands are both deployed and they stayed and we all enjoyed food.

Tomorrow Nate goes back to school........YEEEAAA....I mean...awwww :) Nate wanted to take pictures of our new garbage can :) Jamie caught a good size channel cat over the weekened!

SAVE THE MINNOWS

The boys went fishing and I noticed a white bucket outside by the door. I thought maybe this is like the SPCA and someone left a fish in need of a home at my front door. Then I realized it was minnows in this terrible dirty blue water with half of them swimming on their sides. I guess they decided to go cat fishin tonight. So I figured just like death row they deserve more respect then that.
So I brought them in and did a 50% water change and added some slime coat additive and a filter for oxygen then removed a couple dead ones. WOW they came alive and started swimming all over the place. They got so hyper one tried to jump out!
