Morning Do

I am glad I am not the only one with the crazy hair in the mornings!

As mother says, ''Children are like little sponges'' while making dinner I noticed Morgan using my phone like Jamie. He even slides his fingers across the screen trying to figure it out. 

Nate loves to play basketball and is doing really good! Our weather dropped down to the 30s not to long ago and I was FREEZING at 47 but its so much fun watching him play. I put tape on the ground as markers for him to stand and they seemed to help out alot.

Coloring and Exploring

I gave Morgan a crayon and paper to see what he would do. I made a few swirls and he started giggling and going crazy. I was waiting any moment for the crayon to go in his mouth but he had fun for a good 5 minutes before he decided to discover the taste of Crayola HA!
He loves to be in the kitchen and take everything out of the cupboards then hide inside like its a cave. 
He started taking his first steps on his own a few days ago. Nate and I were talking in the middle of the living room when he walked right past us. Nate looked at me and I looked at him as if we both said, ''did he just do that?"

Nate was so excited to take pictures with his new uniform. He had his first game last Saturday and had alot of fun.

It was left over night and Nate had already ate. I was heating up Jamie and I something when I turned around and there was Nate feeding Morgan his dinner! I was shocked! I told Nate thank you for being such a big helper and big brother.

Happy Birthday Morgan!

Got up and made everyone french toast for breakfast then we headed to the Alexandria Zoo! Nate was so excited because this is the first time we have been able to make it over there since we have lived here. Sadly a few of the exhibits were under construction and I think Nate was a little spoiled from the Portland zoo because there were so many birds and monkeys but we had some of our favorites. Feeding the fish, otter, and the reptile exhibit! You know your a mother of boys when you think the reptiles looks beautiful and cute haha! After a stop at the gift shop for Morgans alligator and Nates snake we went to Applebees for lunch then headed home to cake and presents! After Morgan tore into his smash cake he was growling and making all kind of funny noises. The sugar finally hit him and he was like a sugar monster. Gave him a bath and set him loose and off he went growling and singing in the living room. I cant believe it has been a year since Morgan was born and wow has time flied but I am so happy that Jamie was here to enjoy the celebration with us as a family. What a wonderful day filled with fun and memories.

Morgan was singing and giggling like crazy when he was taking pictures with Nate but we had a really hard time getting him to smile by himself. We even tried having Nate stand behind me and talk to him but he was more interested in watching the cars drive by HAHA! I cant wait to update my pictures on the walls!!!
