Sylas could not resist the smell of peanut butter blossom cookies in the oven tonight. Now that he put chunks of peanut butter on my glass I have to clean clean clean.

Santa Came To Fort Polk!!!

Nate could hardly contain his excitement when we stood there waiting for the Santa parade! Since we were the only ones from our street standing out there Nate made a HAUL on the candy. When Santa came rolling by Nate was jumping up and down screaming, "SANTA SANTA" and waving his hand at the same time. Santa through a big bucket to him and Nate was able to fill that sucker up with candy!

Making and Baking!

Tis the season to bake and make goodies! We made a sad...oops I mean a wonderful ginger bread house HA He got mad at me when I took a nibble of it. Then we made some sugar cookies. He was so excited to see his little cookies in the oven getting bigger. Only problem is they got bigger......and bigger......AND BIGGER to the point where they were jut round blobs and did not resemble the shapes he mad. He was bummed but forgot about the situation when he sunk his teeth into the yummy treats! We also made 100% fruit smoothies! Every morning he runs down stairs to see if Santa came yet. He told me he will let me know when he does. At school they are really pumping the kids up for Santa to come! I think they also have been teaching them to make their beds and keep their rooms cleaned. Nate is determined to keep his room cleaned and every morning I see him in there making his bed. Not just throw the covers over either I mean serious and precise bed making. Usually I just stand in the door way like, "who are you and what have you done with my child" HAHA Next week we will be making ginger bread men!

Nate's First Time Bowling!

We all had a blast last night bowling! Nate felt so proud when his ball hit the pins. He would do a little jig dance after each roll.

So todays assignment for school was to ask the kids to point out a color of bulb on the Christmas tree. WELL for some really odd reason our Christmas tree lights wont work? Soooo I snagged my jar of country buttons and we did it that way.
Then I couldnt get the lid back on and Nate grabbed the camera and before I knew it I was concentrating so hard on this glass jar lid and then blinded by a flash. HA (I never could figure it out)

Happy Birthday Nate

Ok ok ok I know this is like waaaaaaay over done and I am about to put an excuse out there for ya'll. Jamie started a crazy shift at work where he wouldnt know his days off and he doesnt get home until between 9-10pm soooo we had to keep putting it off and FINALLY Jamie has a day off where everyone can come over and join in the fun! Dont laugh at his sponge bob balloon they didnt have any spider man tee hee Nate was shocked when he came downstairs and saw it all decorated. "my party! you did a party for me! awwww" HAHAHAA Bobbi wrapped Nates hoodie shirt in a juice box container so when he opened it he kinda gave us a look and said, Juice in a slow voice. When we asked what it was he proclaimed "JUICE" I did not realize that I had bought trick candles. Curt informed me about it and I wondered how Nate would handle it. HA he tried so hard poor buddy. Pam brought baby pistol over and Jamie stole him! All in all the evening was wonderful! Happy 4th birthday my sugar bear.
