I was taking a friend into town to pick up some stuff at Lowes and Nate fell asleep in the back.

Morgan!

7lbs 3oz give or take 1lb
Due date moved to Nov 24 give or take 2 weeks but she said she would stick with the 18th LOLOLOL
I got to see him scrunch his face making his cheeks move off to the side and he moved his hand across his face.
Looks completely different then Nate did at this time so it will be exciting to see him in person! I think he is going to look like MUA! So excited right now and cant wait to hold him. It was really nice of them to work extra hard to get this picture just for Jamie because they dont print out photos but since he is not here they usually work with you.

Tex Work With Me Here!

While everyone else is in this nesting mode I am tired and dont feel like doing anything but I know things have to get done. The floor is always littered with dog toys because it hurts to bend over and pick them up daily. I wanted to see a nice clean floor so I decided to pick them up. Within a few minutes I hear the crinkle of the basket and I go to investigate. Tex is laying down but his toys have been rumiged through.
"Tex...you have to be kidding me!" of course he just stares at me
So I honestly think he likes his toys everywhere. HA!

Late For Breakfast

I seem to be getting more and more tired lately. This morning I knew we would be cutting it just too close for him to possibly eat breakfast so I decided to make his own. Our favorite is a piece of whole wheat toast with crunchy peanut butter and an egg with a little cheese on top. I was making it very fast while Nate was getting dressed and he walks down stairs with tall black socks on. "oh no no Nate you need white socks" so he runs back up stairs and at this time the egg is almost done and I hear him coming back down the stairs but this time he has short black socks. "no no no Nate WHITE socks honey WHITE socks" "ugh mooooom" I could tell he was getting annoyed because he was so tired he was probably color blind HA! He had a late night on Halloween so I made him go to bed an hour early but I guess it didnt help.
I felt really bad but he wanted to eat and chat but we didnt have time and I knew he needed something in his tummy and fast! So we continued the conversation in the car. The conversation consisted of what is better on an egg hot sauce or ketchup. Nate said, "daddy likes hot sauce on his eggs!" "yes he does Nate and so does poppi!"
"poppi likes peanut butter too mom" "crunchy or smooth" "crunchy!" "thats right!"
So after all this food talk once he was dropped off Morgan was wide awake and I was starving so I headed home and made the same thing he he he

Trick Or Treat 2011

I went where no pregnant woman has gone before! The plan tonight was for me to walk just down the street and back with Nate then my friends were going to take him to this indoor facility that was loaded with games, candy, and jumpy houses. I knew I would be at home with my feet proped up from the swelling. Having to hit the bathroom every 5 minutes also does not help.
I was either running on pure adrenalin or I was having too much fun to think about it because I walked almost our ENTIRE neighborhood without stopping!!!!! Nate filled his bucket with candy! Then I struggled on weather or not I should continue to the facility and put on my big girl panties and did! Nate had a blast and it was so much fun to see him excited. The funniest games were when he put his hand in a box and someone grabbed it. He did not like that LOL then skull bowling, spider toss, musical cup cakes, and the list goes on and on.
My feet hurt probably from not used to being on them that much but other then that I feel great! Morgan was moving so much that my friends daughters could see him from across the living room HA!

Pumpkin Carvin 2011

Every year Nate always gets grossed out cleaning the pumpkins. He still does it but hes not exactly excited about it.
Its tradition that Jamie carves his pumpkin. Nate gets so excited to watch him too. Before I could even get the knife into the pumpkin he says with his head down, ''mom...I wish daddy was here" I had to cover my face because I teared up. Its so hard when he says stuff like that it really tugs at my heart because I wish he was here too but I have to be the strong one and continue on to make memories with or without him present. Gotta keep the ol photo book up to date :)
Nate picked out the patterns which I think were the most difficult ones and he sat and watched me the whole time. His job was to grab the pieces that came through the other side.
He couldnt wait to put candles in them and see what they look like.

Grammy Countdown 2011

As of today Grammy will be here in 17 days!!!!!!
This was a little project that I thought would be much more fun then making x's on a calendar.
This is one of those Christmas chocolate door calendars! Amazingly the commissary had a huge stock of them so I grabbed one for the project and one with Santa on it for Christmas.
The paint was washable so it did not cover the picture as much as I wanted it to but Nate didnt care he liked painting period! He picked out the 3d sticker stars and placed a sticker star on each day. The last day I put a smiley face on it.
