Picture Time!

Nate is enjoying his soccer season but you can tell he is ready for a change. He cant wait to start playing basketball in the fall. He goes outside all the time to play with the neighborhood kids or practice dribbling. Jamie and I have been working on his hand and eye skills with the ball and hes doing really good. We need to add some running exercises to the regimen he he he.
Morgan loves to stand at the coffee table and walk around it. He loves to smile and Nate when Nate comes in from school and grab his legs. Nate loves his brother and plays with his toys and shows him how to do things. Jamie got his new dress blues and got all his pretty pins put on. They do inspection once every 6 months so I quickly grabbed the camera hehehe His pin collection has grown so much just since last year. I love it when he can explain what every single colored ribbon stands for. It shows how much he has accomplished in his Army career. Im so proud of him :) My weight loss is pretty much complete and Im so happy that my back has not bothered me. I feel like I am back to my old self again.

Big Boy

He likes to stand so i have been placing him on the recliner or couch. Today he turned and gave me his hand then took a step to me and handed me his other hand. He giggles and gets all excited. He is not crawling off his tummy yet but cruises around very fast.

Snuggle Time

Past few nights Morgan has not want to go to bed. We end up having to take him back out of his crib and he stops crying as soon as I give him to Jamie. He LOVES to snuggle with Jamie every night. Jamies neck was bothering him and I gave him ice and Morgan....two things that make it all better HA! He bumped his head the other day and while I was holding him Jamie comes over and Morgan leans out for him to grab him and as soon as Jamie picked him up he stopped crying. When Morgan is hungry though its another story he doesnt want anything to do with Jamie and wants me HAHAHA

Smile

Morgan has two upper and two bottom teeth and uses them daily when smiling. He was playing peekaboo with me behind the couch and would giggle when he popped around the corner.

Snack Pack Time

I always used to feed Morgan a snack pack on the living room floor like a picnic. Its been a few months so when I showed up with one in my hand he started doing his little hip wiggle dance and had his arms straight out HA!

August Tennessee Trip

We headed up to Clarksville TN to visit Jamie's family. We had such a great time seeing all the cousins play together. David is 4 months younger then Nate so they had a blast playing at McDonalds. We had a little car trouble the night before we were supposed to leave but we got another day of visiting in while it was being fixed. Got home last night just before the hurricaine is supposed to hit. Then we got up this morning and drove back to Alexandria to pick up Tex from his hotel so now today will be spent doing laundry and relaxing. :)

Soccer 2012!!!

We got a surprise call from the coach yesterday that his first practice was today! We thought the season didnt start until next month!
When we got to the field we thought maybe we had the wrong coach or time. The kids were so small....or Nate was so big compared to them but then a child yelled out for Nate and apparently he is in his class. 
A little girl said Nate was too big to play with them and we over heard the parents behind us talking about how big he was. I keep forgetting how much he has grown this past year.
Nate was so happy that Jamie was there this time to watch him and Morgan enjoyed watching like he always has.
When we were leaving Nate insisted he push Morgan. I LOVED the moment especially since he is still not into the hugs or converstation with Morgan. It comes and goes so when he wanted to push him I was really happy. I think Nate was pretending he was a race car and Morgan was bouncing around and leaning forward. We stopped for a second and Morgan leaned forward with closed fists and rocked back and forth as to say, ''KEEP GOING'' 
It was so cute that Jamie and I looked at each other and smiled and chuckled a little.
