The school is having their annual Eggonaut Drop March 26th
You take an egg and put it in something no larger then 6x6x6 and the teachers take them up onto the roof of the school and drop them to the ground. Who ever has an eggonaut survive wins!
Soooooo I think Nate should be in good hands. MUA HA HA HA I have that size box and all the shipping supplies for coral so I figured I would do the same thing. Ofcourse we are going to test it but filling a small bag with water and having the egg float in the bag then fill the box with peanuts. Hmmmm could be promising. If ya'll have any ideas we can try let me know this will be fun!

I LOVE IT!!!!! When I taught 5/6th grade we would give the kids all the same materials and their teams had to construct a box to mail across the country. Then the place they mailed to would video opening the boxes. It was great to see who's made it and who's didn't. You idea sounds promising. I'm surprised they don't have any restrictions on what you can use ... Have Fun!!!
Sounds like alot of fun...Is the school a one or two store building? I predict it might break if you use water...remember the surface of the water will be like cement and the slit second that it fall in the air I think the egg will be lighter and float above and then when it hits the ground...well you know...:0( Not to mention that the weight of the water will make it drop heavier...instead of water,try a cocoon of something soft, like cotton...good luck..!!!
