Smell Pretty Doggie

I gave Tex his bath with the good shampoo that groomers use. Then he got a force air dry with the shop vac and a spritz of gingerbread cologne. To top it off he got a new squeeky toy that he has been carrying around. It has really really big eyes and he wants to chew them out so bad but I always catch him in the act so he has yet to accomplish that. There is still one toy that is his favorite and its this darn squrrel that Zeek used to have.
I found out that I was brushing him the wrong way. Akitas are supposed to be brushed in the opposite direction their hair grows. I never did that with Sylas but with Tex I have and wow does it make a difference in their coat. Its fluffier and fizzier and makes them look like the snuggle bear. he he he
In this picture he is hunting a butterfly that comes around daily. He doesnt hurt it but likes to find it and just stare at it until it flies away.
